This policy explains what Auto Lockout Service does with information relating to visitors of autolockoutservice.com and to customers who call us. It is written to describe what actually happens rather than to cover every hypothetical.

Information we collect from this website

Very little. This site has no contact form, no newsletter sign-up, no login and no shopping cart, so there is nothing here for you to submit. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies on this site, and we do not run third-party advertising pixels.

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages records standard technical request information such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. This is ordinary server logging used for security and reliability, not for building a profile of you.

Some pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch them. That request is handled under Google's own privacy terms.

Information you give us when you call

When you phone us about a lockout, you will normally tell us your name, your phone number, the location of the vehicle, and the vehicle's year, make and model. We use that information for one purpose: to carry out the job you called about.

Before a vehicle is opened, our technician will ask you to confirm you own it or are authorised to drive it, and to show identification. We check identification; we do not keep copies of identity documents.

Payment information

Card payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full card number.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. We share it only where it is necessary to do the job — for example with the technician attending your vehicle — or where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Job records are kept for as long as we need them for business and accounting purposes, and then deleted.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it, by emailing help@autolockoutservice.com. If we cannot delete something because we are required to keep it, we will tell you why.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site or the business handles information — for example by adding a contact form or analytics — this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
